A 3-hour workshop presented by Kenneth P. Drude, Ph.D.
E-mail and texting are increasingly being used by psychologists and clients to communicate with each other. Applicable legal and ethical requirements for their use, however, are often either unclear or not apparent. This workshop will review the primary legal and ethical requirements for using email and texting with clients, recommendations for what to include in a telecommunications policy and discussions about their application.
