In its Summer 2021 issue, The National Psychologist (TNP) newspaper announced that was the last print issue to be published. Since then, they have been working feverishly to get their new online website updated. After months of supply chain delays and illness among staff and/or their families, they are nearing the end of this arduous task which has taken much longer than anticipated according to Marty Saeman, Managing Editor and Publisher. He said, “We hope to launch our new website around March 1 or so.” The new website will allow all articles in the CE Quiz to be viewed by everyone at no cost. The remainder will be “by subscription only.” Saeman encourages anyone who is already a paid subscriber to contact them by email (natlpsych@aol.com) to make sure they have your correct email and phone number. Anyone not a paid subscriber can call toll-free 1-800-486-1985 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to subscribe. Saeman said the reason for the change is “strictly a business decision.” He continued, “TNP is truly a small family business. Our family has invested tens of thousands of dollars of personal and retirement funds to keep TNP afloat during our 30-year history. We could not continue with the same business model any longer, therefore the change to online only. We want to thank our faithful readers and encourage everyone to follow our website and to become paid subscribers to take advantage of all that we offer.”
